Exercise, social media cleanup, coding Manaflow
Started off the day with a 2 mile run in 8.5 min pacing and 53 pushups. I had a slow start to the day, spent a bit a time doomscrolling X and following back some of the cool people that followed me from the big wave in January. For those of you who don't know, I had a X post that went semiviral in January, achieving around 1.2k+ likes and 2.2k bookmarks. It also went semiviral on Linkedin with almost 2.5k reactions, but honestly X is much harder to blow up. Actually just in that post alone, I was able to 4x my original following number. Kind of crazy how X works.
I then started coding fixes for Manaflow. Like a lot of code, some written by Cursor, which I'm actually getting quite annoyed with at this moment. I've considered using Claude Code to help make separate PRs on a different git branch and one of my YC friends did show me a workflow of starting Claude code and having it run in parallel in a different branch while you work on something else. It's kind of like Devin in a way but Devin is like makes the whole PR for you which is nice. I wish Claude Code had the revert to previous checkpoint thing.
Also, I'm planning on doing a YC launch in a few days so making sure that the core product works, migration is successful, and that the landing page reflects the most up-to-date product, demos, tutorials, and docs. Just need to get everything straight up so we can go for another launch. Why a YC launch? I'm trying to get more attention onto our product so we can talk to people with good connections to enterprise companies - like VCs, investors, or other advisors. And it's not as high stakes as a social launch on LinkedIn or X, but honestly, I might do that as well - haven't really decided. We haven't launched anything in a while and I do want to polish stuff up before we do a social media launch again. It's gotta look a lot different or a lot better than last time. I'll probably take some time to code features out before getting to those things. A YC launch should be more lowkey though?
Have been spending a bit more time in DMs with other founders on both X and LinkedIn and connecting with interesting people on the platforms. I think this will give me a good headstart in the social thing when I do move back into SF -- lots of SF events are from these groups.
What did I do today:
- Ran 2 miles at 8.5 min pacing
- Completed 53 pushups
- Followed back people from January X viral post wave
- Coded some features and fixes for Manaflow
- Planned for upcoming YC launch - ensuring product, migration, and landing page are ready
- Connected with founders on X and LinkedIn DMs
