Hi, I'm Austin. I'm building Manaflow, an applied AI lab creating open source coding software. We're the creators of cmux, a coding agent manager that supports Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Amp, Opencode, and other coding CLIs. Previously, I worked as an engineer at Google, NASA JPL, and Chess.com.
Beyond tech, I'm passionate about exploring new food cuisines, immersing in art & architectural museums, traveling, reading philosophy and the Western canon, practicing Mandarin, and playing the violin in chamber and orchestra.
I grew up in Southern California and am a self-taught engineer, Yale College graduate, and a startup founder backed by Y Combinator. I was formerly President of the Yale Undergraduate Consulting Group and YHack. My work has also been featured on Business Insider and The Economist.
